John enjoyed a successful career as an environmental scientist, specialising in the delineation, remediation, and toxicological risk assessment of soil and groundwater contamination. Yet, he couldn’t shake a desire to farm. So, with only limited farming experience—growing up with horses and a few cattle — he gave up his job, purchased a farm and moved to Tasmania. Seventeen years later, John and his family now own and operate a thriving Certified Organic and Regenerative Dairy and Beef farm in Tasmania.
