My family since 1824 has and continues to operate a large sheep cattle and cropping operation under the Western Tiers in the Northern Midlands.
The role I’ve undertaken in the last 25 years has been advocating and engaging in long term science based sustainable forestry, formal and informal conservation reserves. More recently my focus has been on carbon projects and potential future carbon projects. In the last three years I have been attempting to start an on farm single renewable energy project for multi meter use /distribution on the farm and the latest project is the long journey to start up a 300-megawatt renewable energy solar farm.
